LHH Recruitment solutions are recruiting a HR Director for our Tunbridge Wells based client.

Reporting to the CEO, the HR Director will be an active member of the Executive Board and will have ultimate responsibility for all strategic and operational HR activities across the organisation.

As HRD you will be leading a small team of HR professionals, this role is the operational lead on all aspects of the employee lifecycle from organisational design, compensation and benefits, training and development, employee engagement and wellbeing. TheHR Director is equally responsible for creating and implementing a dynamic HR strategy that fits with the business plans and needs.

A key focus in the coming year is supporting the Executive team in accelerating the drive for a more vibrant culture where people feel valued, invested in, and understand how their role fits into the bigger picture.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and implementation of an HR growth strategy that underpins the business objectives to enable positive organisational and cultural change
- To lead the development and implementation of cultural objectives. Ensure that all key stakeholders are both involved and own their elements of the culture and engagement strategy
- Creation of an annual people plan, identifying key cyclical events and identifying project priorities for the next 12 months
- To lead on the business' Diversity and Inclusion agenda - articulating and embedding agreed plans
- Partner the Executive Team with coaching and mentoring guidance
- Leading a Team of 6 HR professionals covering all HR areas including Organisational Design; Talent Acquisition; Succession Planning; Learning & Development; Renumeration & Benefits; Employee Relations; Engagement and Wellbeing
- Maintain and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as recruitment agencies, head-hunters, benefits providers, and training suppliers

**Essential Experience & Qualifications**:

- Proven background working at an Executive level with responsibility for the delivery of both strategic and operational HR objectives
- Previous experience of managing an HR Team within a medium sized organisation
- A true hands-on people-person: confident communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to build successful relationships at all levels and happy to get involved with operational HR aspects when needed
- You must have a strong work ethic and have high emotional intelligence with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to think outside of the box coming up with pragmatic solutions to complex challenges
- You must be able to thrive in a business which supports multiple service teams and product portfolios and ingrain yourself in their different cultures and ways of working
- Expertise in HR policies and procedures with a track record of developing and rolling out pragmatic HR solutions that address business needs
