London, United Kingdom British Airways Full time

Cabin Crew - BA Cityflyer

BA Cityflyer is an airline with a difference. Yes, we’re part of the British Airways family and take great pride delivering the same impeccable customer service. However, we also do things in our own, unique way.

We serve a business and leisure market from London City, a single-terminal airport just east of Canary Wharf. It’s a place where you’ll really get to know your colleagues and become part of a close-knit team.

You might also get to know our customers too, some of whom fly with us weekly, or even daily. In fact, our diverse and dedicated team really feel like they’re part of a family when they join us.

So, whether you are a reassuring voice on the end of a phone, a smile at the door, under a wing keeping the turbines spinning or landing us gently in exciting places, a job at BA Cityflyer is yours to make.

This is an airline where your original personality and skills will really shine through.

***
**The role**

As a real team player, you’ll work closely with colleagues to make great things happen for our customers. Crucially, you’re always ready to adapt to change and innovation. Whether you’re responding to changing conditions mid-flight or trying out a brand new service, you will aspire to be the very best, with customers at the forefront of your mind. It’s all about flying our customers in style, taking care to provide experiences that set us apart from the competition. By making sure customers are looked after, you’ll strengthen the relationship we have with them.

You belong with us. That’s why we’ll provide you with world-class training, invaluable experience and the rewards and career progression you would expect from the leading airline at London City Airport.

**What you’ll do**

The premium service you’ll deliver will uplift our customers. Your ability to adapt to their different needs and circumstances, every time, is what sets BA Cityflyer apart. It's time for a bold approach to customer service.
- Deliver world-class service excellence in line with our service standards and behaviours
- You’ll ensure all operational safety, security and health and safety responsibilities are performed to the highest standards
- Ensure compliance with all corporate policies and procedures in accordance with relevant legislation

**What you’ll bring**

When you join BA Cityflyer as Cabin Crew you will be working within a diverse team that is quick-thinking, hard-working and customer focused. You’ll ensure that our customers are provided with a safe, relaxing, and secure experience.

If you have a keen interest in aviation, you just need to be yourself and bring;
- Passion for Customer Service: Demonstrate a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding communicator and effective decision-maker.
- Time Management: Demonstrate effective time management skills.
- Resilience: Ability to remain resilient in dynamic and challenging environments.
- Continuous Learning: Motivation for constant learning, personal growth and openness to feedback.
- Brand Ambassador: Committed to being a brand ambassador, upholding excellence in safety, security, and service standards every day.
- Team Player: Hardworking, empathetic, and collaborative.

**Your experience**
- 12 months of customer service experience
- Proficient in both spoken and written English
- Have the right to work in the UK, and a passport that allows unrestricted global travel

**What we offer**
- We believe that all the people who work with us should feel valued for the part they play. It’s one of the reasons our rewards go far beyond a competitive salary. The role offers a permanent contract with a competitive basic salary of £19,034, with the potential to earn up to £28,000 annually through flying/duty pay and a tax-free subsistence allowance.
- 30 days annual leave
- From the day you join us, you’ll get access to brilliant staff travel benefits including unlimited basic and premium standby tickets on British Airways flights. You’ll also receive up to 30 discounted ‘Hotline’ airfares per year for yourself, friends, and family. It doesn’t stop there, though.

**Inclusion & Diversity**

At BA Cityflyer we all have a part to play in creating an inclusive place to work. Diverse representation among our people is really important to us and we recognise that all our colleagues are uniquely different and bring their own originality, creativity and identity to work.

Inclusion and diversity is a key driver of innovation and we’re committed to creating a culture where everyone feels that they can be themselves. We’re looking for people from all backgrounds and cultures to join us and be a part of our journey to become a Better BA Cityflyer as we continue to connect Britain with the world and the world with Britain.
