**Maintenance Assistant**

Are you a dab hand with a toolbox? If so, come and join us as a Maintenance Assistant and ensure our hotel is always in tip top condition and in good working order. Happy to consider a full or part-time position.

One of the most varied roles in the hotel, you will be on hand to jump in and fix issues in guest rooms to make sure they have a faultless stay. Making sure our back of house areas are operating seamlessly and that public areas look as fresh as they did on day one.

You will be responsible for providing support across the building assisting with maintenance, painting and decorating, deep cleaning, outside cleaning, and general odd jobs.

Duties include:

- Maintaining the outside areas including the courtyard and front of Hotel, ensuring areas are guest ready.
- Carrying out external jet wash cleaning and maintenance duties in the hotel and outside areas.
- Managing maintenance stock areas and organisation of equipment.
- Maintaining high standards, repairing items, painting and decorating.
- Cleaning equipment.
- Assist trades people with electrical or plumbing repairs.
- Identify and report the need for major repairs in conjunction with the general manager.
