**Maintenance Assistant**

**The Role**:
Do you have a track record for providing high quality maintenance projects and an eye for detail?

As part of our maintenance team, you will play an integral role in the general maintenance of our Grade II listed building helping to provide the perfect experience for our guests.

**Your skills and expertise**:

- Perform routine checks and maintenance in all areas of the hotel and spa.
- Carry out basic repair jobs as directed by the Maintenance Manager, including redecorating, painting, tiling, guttering and other general repairs.
- Ensure all health and safety checks are completed and documented.
- Regularly inspect equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment and systems to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Ensure all public areas are kept clean and tidy while completing jobs.

**Further Information**:

- 40 hours per week.
- The role will involve shift work working 4 days on and 4 days off.
