We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with excellent communication to lead on our digital learning strategy and day to day management of the digital learning provision.

As more of our learning and teaching experiences extend into digital spaces it is vital that both staff and students can make best use of the available opportunities. In this role you will work collaboratively with colleagues across the college to develop digital skills and digital learning resources. You will also provide advice on designing a curriculum that connects students digitally and making the best use of e-learning platforms.

You will have a proven track record in designing and delivering digital learning materials to diverse audiences. A good understanding of the range of tools and resources that are available to deliver digital learning and their strengths and weaknesses is required, along with the pedagogical principles that underpin digital learning.

In addition to supporting the implementation of the digital learning strategy, you will also be responsible for managing the Learning Resource Centre (LRC). As such you will need to be committed to creating a vibrant learning environment for all students. This will include organising, maintaining and extending our resources, and ensuring that students access these in a way that offers enjoyment and enhances their learning.

Our open-spaced LRC is at the centre of the college and is used in a variety of ways including a place for silent reading, independent revision and collaborative study, along with a suite of IT facilities. This post offers an exciting opportunity to re-shape our existing provision and be part of developing a thriving learning centre for both students and staff alike.

With a passion for technology you will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience. Being a team player is important as you will be working with people across the college and helping out in the LRC where necessary. As such you will need to have good interpersonal skills and be able to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels, engaging with others with the ability to inspire continuous improvement.

This role would suit someone who is proactive, flexible and is able to bring high energy to a team that supports both staff and students.

This role is 37 hours per week between 0830 and 1630 Monday to Friday (start and finish times may vary to ensure cover across the week). There may also be a need to stay late on occasion where our LRC is open later for our students.

**Equality, Diversity and Inclusion**:
We strive to be representative of the community we serve and know that diverse talent builds a better College and provides an enhanced experience for our students. We’re committed to building an organisation where everyone is welcome, supported and able to thrive.

Equality and diversity are fundamental to our core beliefs and values. That’s why we welcome people from all ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, socio-economic classes, religions, disabilities and ages in everything we do.

**Keeping children safe in education**:
St Brendan's Sixth Form College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
