A fantastic opportunity has arisen here at West Lancashire Borough Council to recruit an Community Employment Officer to join the team of our EU Funded project 'More Positive Together'.
The successful post-holder will also be responsible for providing on-going support to help participants move closer towards the labour market. This will involve linking participants with the right support and training to improve confidence levels, skills and readiness for employment.
You will also be part of a small results driven team, so the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships and demonstrate excellent communication, influencing and problem solving is essential.
So, if you are passionate about working in the community and helping people on the pathway to achieving their potential, then this may be the right role for you.
The post is full time and offered on a fixed term contract until December 2023.
