We are proud to operate a large fleet of HGV and liquid waste tankering vehicles to transport non-hazardous materials wherever they need to be. We operate on a nationwide scale, with our clients based in East Anglia, the South West, the Midlands, Wales and in the north of England. All of our vehicles are fitted with sophisticated technology that allows our drivers to maintain contact with our head office team in Gloucestershire should they ever encounter an issue.

With around 100 to 150 loads taking place per day, our transport service is integral to ensuring wastewater and other environmental waste products are safely transported to treatment facilities across the country.

**Job Overview**:
We are looking for a full-time Senior Transport Planner to support our Transport Department Manager with all aspects of running the department. You will work alongside our Transport Planner and will also assist in the day to day running of a busy transport office.

**The role will involve, but not be limited to**:

- Overseeing the planning of up to 150 loads of waste water per day
- Monitoring fleet utilisation and the profitability of runs
- Ensure the drivers hours and workload are within drivers hours regulations
- Great communication skills required as you will be communicating with customers and employees from all levels of the business
- You will be ensuring any complaints are dealt with effectively and in a timely manner
- Ensuring all spread sheets are correct and up to date
- You will provide regular updates to directors and other departments heads
- You will oversee the department and take responsibility for all decisions made in the managers absence

**Essential: You will need to have transport planning experience in a similar environment.**
