Transport Planner

**About the role**

Ideally located between Tewkesbury and Evesham, we are a well-established family run business. We operate a large up to date fleet of Vacuum tankers moving non-hazardous liquid waste throughout the UK, and are now looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join our Transport team.

**Responsibilities**

You will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of up to 45 tankers, liaising with the other transport planners in the team. You’ll keep customers and drivers informed of changes to the days planned work and update the transport planning system accordingly.

**Experience**
- Previous transport planning experience in a busy office environment
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Previous experience of using Mandata preferred but not essential

**Skills**
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and on own initiative
- Demonstrate tenacity and the ability to overcome challenges
- The ability to communicate at all levels
- Excellent PC skills and the ability to use Excel.
