Harrogate Homeless Project is looking for an experienced volunteer coordinator to join it’s growing team. This is a new position and an exciting opportunity to make a real difference within an established local homeless charity.

Working closely with the Fundraising Manager and and the management team to develop opportunities for increasing income across Fundraising and recruit potential volunteers for all areas of HHP activities. Develop recruitment campaigns to promote volunteering with HHP. Ensure that all volunteers receive an induction and appropriate training for their area of activity. Actively build relationships with local corporate and organisations to promote volunteering opportunities and recruit volunteers. You will also be expected to identify potential fundraising opportunities.

The successful applicant will have a proven track record in identifying specific skills that volunteers have developed and match these to suitable volunteer opportunities to maximise the benefits for HHP and the volunteer.

Harrogate Homeless Project supports people who are homeless and vulnerable in the Harrogate District by providing a safe place to stay and the support they need to build confidence and move towards independence.

We operate a day centre, supporting people experiencing homelessness with day-to-day care, emergency overnight accommodation, a 16-bed hostel and move on housing along with a range of support services.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: £12,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
