Part Time Accounts Administrator

Our client, a successful engineering company with an envied reputation based in Eccles are recruiting a part time Accounts Administrator working approximately 30 hours per week. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the Accounts team to undertake a transactional accounts role and building relationships both internally and externally to maximise performance for the company.
**Job Role**:
The main responsibilities of this Accounts Administrator role will include:
- Responsible for opening new customer accounts, credit checks and setting credit limits
- Assessing ongoing credit availability for existing customers
- Resolving queries with customers and internal departments
- Matching purchase orders to GRN /invoices and checking nominal codes
- Posting supplier invoices and payments
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Processing monthly expenses for all staff
- Creating supplier payments
- Supporting the Finance Manager with ad hoc duties and reporting
- All associated administration duties
**Skills and Experience**:
- Experience of working in a similar Accounts Administrator role
- Previous experience of accurately processing transactions
- Be numerate with strong attention to detail
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with a confident telephone manner
- Have strong inter-personal skills
- Have a good working knowledge of IT packages including Excel and ideally ERP packages
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team
- Have a positive, can do attitude and be flexible and self-motivated
- Able to work well under time constraints with excellent attention to detail
In return, this role is offered on a part time basis, working approximately 30 hours per week.
**Salary**: c£22,000 pro rata + Benefits
