About the Department - Compliance and Market Access*
We support clients from a wide range of sectors, including telecoms networks, space and satellite, aeronautical and maritime. We analyse national markets and technical policies and provide insight on overcoming technical, regulatory and political barriers. We help clients acquire licences and confirm their regulatory compliance across jurisdictions. Our team provides tailored support for large companies, public organisations and national governments.
**What you can expect to be doing**
- Gathering and analysing information on telecommunication laws and regulations in jurisdictions around the world, with specific focus on Asia Pacific and Africa;
- Preparing reports to clients on market access and other requirements to telecom service providers;
- Planning and updating regulatory databases on various jurisdictions;
- Carrying out market research on different new technologies services in the IT and telecoms sectors and helping to spot emerging developments.

**What you will bring**
Essential
- Graduate degree in law, political sciences or related
- Very good oral and written communication skills in English;
- Fluency in a second language (preferably French, or any regionally spoken language in APAC).
- Ability to condense, structure and summarise information into clear and concise elements;
- Ability to report back to line manger about findings;
- Interest in ICT policy;
- Good IT skills

Desirable
- Background in compliance or market access;
- Broad understanding of politics and market trends in ICT;
- Knowledge on how to visualise information

**You must have the right to work in the UK for the duration of the internship.**
**This is a paid internship, based on the current London Real Living wage**
