Our Compliance Team supports Playtech’s global operations, ensuring that the business complies with a multitude of regulations required to operate, and enabling the business to enter newly regulated markets and release new products.

**Job Description**:
**Intern Scheme (3 months)**

Our intern scheme is designed to develop you and enable you to understand the foundations of Regulatory Affairs. You will be exposed to multiple workstreams within the two areas, and you will get to know our team and our business.

You will learn about the industry, Playtech's activities and products and the opportunities and challenges that businesses face in maintaining compliance. In addition, you will be given the chance to learn about advocacy, regulation of new gambling markets and the political and policy debates connected to that.

**Your Responsibilities**
- Understanding the basic regulatory requirements across multiple international jurisdictions;
- Monitoring regulatory and compliance developments within the gambling sector;
- Preparing reports and communications to the business on various compliance matters;
- Supporting the relevant Regulatory Affairs Managers as a full member of the team;
- Learning about the business, operations, and ongoing project delivery;
- Conducting gambling-related research that will be used by the Regulatory Affairs team for future advocacy; and
- Assisting and supporting with ad hoc compliance admin and events.

**Qualifications**
- 2nd or 3rd year bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification - law, public relations or business management is preferable.

**Skills**
- Attention to detail
- Inquisitive and analytical mindset
- Driven, with initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to organise and manage time
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, notably Excel and PowerPoint
- Team player with good communication and collaboration skills
- Very good English writing skills; a second language at least proficient reading or listening, will be an asset although not a must have.
- Understanding of a legislative process or of the EU or trade bodies will be an asset though not a must have.
