Document Production Administrator

Jackson Hogg is currently recruiting for one of our well-established clients based in Newcastle, Quayside. They are looking for a Document Specialist to work Monday to Friday (core hours) Hybrid - 2/3 days in the office and 2/3 days working from home each week. You will be working as part of a motivated team to provide professional, high-quality documentation.
- Technical ability:_
- To produce and amend lengthy and complex business critical documents with speed and accuracy, in line with our house style
- To proofread and check all work for spelling, grammar, formatting, presentation and sense
- Experience in creative thinking to assist in the redesign of layouts in PowerPoint and general problem solving
- To be proactive in learning new skills and technology within your role to support the needs of the business
- To proactively work with other members of the team to make sure relevant documentation is produced to meet internal and external clients' expectations and deadlines
- Administrative skills_
- To maintain and update entries on the DP team tracker and the teams BigHand workflow
- To take responsibility for logging incoming work in conjunction with other team members
- To take responsibility for ensuring that each piece of work is correctly saved and accessible by the requestor, logged and returned to the sender with the appropriate communication
- To attend and contribute proactively to meetings convened during operational hours
- To carry out other ad-hoc support when needed i.e. photocopying, scanning
- General approach_
- To show a positive and 'can-do' approach and interest in the work that the team undertakes
- To show initiative when responding to queries and to actively try and seek solutions to problem documents
- To proactively share information in relation to document best practice or 'fixes' to document problems, consistent with the team's overall aim for excellence in accuracy and efficiency
- To support and build working relationships with the team and to actively work for the interests of the whole team
- To be flexible in meeting the needs of the team and the business - e.g. occasional shift changes (with reasonable notice) to accommodate team meetings, training sessions, support requirements etc.
- Reliability and punctuality are also key to enable the team to operate effectively
- To be confident working on own in the office, liaising with other teams members via phone and zoom
