Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a local authority in Hertfordshire who are looking for a Right to Buy Officer to join their Legal team. Please find below further details regarding this position.

**ROLE**:Right to Buy Officer
**LOCATION**: Hertfordshire
**RATE**: £20.00 to £24.00 per hour
**CONTRACT**: Initial 6 months with possibility of extension, 37 hours per week

**The Role**
- To manage and administer the Council's Right to Buy process including post completion matters
- To undertake property-related transactions and to provide legal advice to interested parties
- To provide guidance on Right to Buy procedures and legislation to tenants and Council officers.

**The Person**
- Knowledge and experience of Right to Buy" and Post-completion" matters would be essential
- Previous local authority experience would be highly desirable for this position
- In depth knowledge of specific acts of parliament such as the Housing Acts Landlord & Tenants Acts
- Good computer literacy skills and attention to details
