I am recruiting for my highly prestigious client in the North West who are looking for their new Business Development Manager

My client are in the Hazardous Waste sector and are looking for someone who is tenacious, sales savvy and wants to increase business in a rapid sales environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively seek new business within a defined territory to meet set targets
Reporting calls, leads, quotes and contract activity.
Producing and presenting weekly, monthly, quarterly personal performance
Liaising regularly with internal stakeholders such as the Managing Director and the Commercial Manager to roll out sales initiatives within region.
Be the primary interface for our target customers.
Responsible for sales prospecting and pricing negotiations
Understanding and knowledge of the recycling and waste industry in particular liquid waste streams.

Sales and development experience, with 3 years or more experience in a comparable field-based business development role.
Agile, solutions focused development skill set.
Experience of developing, managing and implementing new business services.
Waste industry knowledge including relevant laws would be advantageous.
Presentation, selling, negotiating and influential skills.
Analytic and able to quickly assess issues and recommend and/or implement solutions.
Team player, able to work effectively across operations, team support etc.
Robust and resilient, able to absorb pressure and respond positively.
Experience of building and maintaining customer relationships.
Determined and pragmatic approach to delivering to tight deadlines and targets.
The ability to communicate with conviction, plan with precision and, most importantly, play well with others.
Computer literate with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Software such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Field sales experience, ideally within waste, hazardous waste, recycling & liquid waste (tankers)
B2B field sales experience within the business services sector
