**Clinical Pathway Lead - Janssen UK**

**Location: National Role - Field Based.**

Johnson and Johnson Innovative Medicine UK is recruiting a **Clinical Pathway Lead **, working nationally UK wide in a field-based position.

**Role Purpose**

Shaping leading and implementing the Immunology Team’s local patient access plan. Recruiting, leading, developing and coaching the local access managers (Clinical Pathway Managers, CPMs) and activities via engagement with internal and external key decision-makers, budget holders and thought leaders in the local health system, developing strategic insights, partnership opportunities, and facilitating pathway and system improvements to enable better health outcomes for patients, and access to Johnson and Johnson’s innovative medicines, ultimately driving uptake of our brands.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Development and implementation of value and access tools for use by CPM team, including, but not limited to, advanced budget notifications, budget impact models, and value propositions.
- Leading, developing and coaching of 4 CPMs, to enhance in call excellence, collaboration, NHS knowledge, and over all business performance
- Ensuring sales growth and competitiveness of Johnson and Johnson’s in-market medicines by delivering value propositions, and other market access tools and materials to support the preferential placement of our brands within the pathways of the local health economy.
- Development of market access strategies for current brands and indications, driving for reimbursement and preferential access to our brands within local health economies.

- ABPI Exam Qualified.
- Degree educated or equivalent experience.
- Subject matter expert in partnership working with NHS with excellent process capability.
- Essential Languages: High level English fluency.

**Experience and Skills**:

- Strong account management skills and strategic account planning
- Strong negotiation skills
- Demonstrable market access marketing experience, with asset creation and strategy development
- 3 to 4 Years of relevant market access experience in both marketing and local access
- Strong operational experience driving implementation of strategies and KPI delivery
- Ability to navigate through complex internal and external approval processes resulting in strong outcomes for patient, NHS and Janssen
- Strong commercial acumen and Return on Investment (ROI) focus in planning
- Ability to build and deliver outstanding strategic plans, which have patient access at the heart of each strategic plan
- Excellent internal and external communicator, highly engaging with external customers and curious about customer needs.
- Strong track record of successful engagement with clinical & non-clinical stakeholders across the UK NHS.
