We are seeking a skilled Clinical Lead Ward Nurse to join our team at The Cherwell Hospital in Banbury, Oxfordshire.
About the RoleThis is a dynamic and challenging position that requires an experienced nurse with strong leadership skills to oversee the delivery of high-quality patient care on our wards.
As a Clinical Lead Ward Nurse, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of nurses and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery while maintaining a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of ward-based nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based nursing practices to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet the needs of the ward and its patients.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines that promote excellence in patient care.
- Registered Nursing qualification or equivalent.
- Registered with the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council).
- At least 3 years' experience as a Staff Nurse/Senior Staff Nurse in a ward setting.
- Proven leadership and management skills with ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
