Reward & Systems Manager

Adecco are proud to be working in partnership with a government department to recruit a Reward and Systems Manager initially on a 2-year contract with the possibility of becoming a permanent role.
As the Reward and Systems Manager, you will be responsible for managing two units within the HR Operations team: pay and rewards and systems development.
This is a key role to develop and lead on the implementation of the future pay strategy and to manage pay negotiations and consultation activities with staff representatives and trade unions. You will oversee the delivery of the annual Gender pay Gap andEthnicity Pay Gap analysis.
The successful incumbent will have responsibility of managing the HR system development plan, oversee the delivery of CMA's self-service strategy, review and approve all system changes, and oversee the delivery of any relevant training sessions for the HRsystem.
This is a truly exciting opportunity to manage a small team and support their professional development as well as developing and recommending changes to the pay and performance strategy ensuring it supports current and future workforce needs.
- Significant experience of delivering a high-quality HR Operations pay and reward service ideally within a highly regulated and fast paced environment.
- Ability to develop and deliver pay activities in an agile way including pay business cases, developing pay proposals and delivery of annual pay settlements.
- An analytical individual who has previously operated in a role that has incorporated an element of systems development ideally within a HR environment.
- Previous experience of managing a small team with the ability to support their professional development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to generate committee papers to a high standard and present information to relevant stakeholders.
