**Area Sales Manager wanted in the South West**

**KBBRecruitment**are pleased to be working with a well-established company which was founded in 1886 and is world renowned for beautifully designed, award-winning showers, taps and valves.

Our client is now looking to expand into other areas of the bathroom market and have an exciting new position for an **Area Sales Manager** to look after their clients in the South West.

**Job Requirements**
- Be responsible for building and maintaining strong long-term customer relationships
- Be able to confidently manage and develop new and existing customers for both brands
- Account management in analysing sales figures, providing reports and offering solutions depending on customers’ needs
- Develop strategic plans to achieve agreed objectives and outcomes set within KPI’s
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, providing relevant information, reports and making recommendations to expedite the resolution and to maximise customer satisfaction
- Implement/review customer specific pricing (Including Price Increases)
- Prepare, implement, maintain and regularly review agreed business plans to ensure set objectives are being met
- Participate in development programs as required
- Participate in employee dialogue/appraisal/review process with line manager
- Compiling and analysing sales figures / reports (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annually)
- Provide a weekly/monthly area forecasts
- Providing key market insight including changes in customer requirements, interests, competitor activity, newly launched products, etc
- Achieve agreed sales budget in all accounts volume, value & margin
- Plan, execute and evaluate all campaigns
- Responsibility to remain up to date of changes/developments within professional field
- Ensures required / set deadlines are met
- Collaborate with wider business to share best practices and support a cohesive sales approach
- Communicate all marketing and public relations activities to all accounts
- Support other Area Sales Managers including, new starter training, holiday cover, etc
- Will be confident, self-motivated, driven, and dynamic
- Have strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Can operate and flourish in a fast-growing, target-driven environment
- Be able prioritise and have time management and organisation skills
- Have competent knowledge of MS Office (Including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams)
- Have a entrepreneurial mind-set with the ability to capitalise on opportunities
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have strong commercial awareness
- Good presentation Skills (within one to one and also group settings)
- Have a proven track record in delivering on set targets /sales
- Have a proven track record in Account/Territory Management
- Be able to attend Staffing trade exhibitions and promotional events (As required)
- Be able to do overnight stays and work from home when required
- Have a full UK driving licence

**Desirable Experience**
- Tap, Shower Market knowledge
- Technical Product Knowledge
