Executive - Corporate Actions Advisory

**Overview**
Supporting Senior Executive in providing expert day-to-day advice to clients and/or corporate advisers/lawyers in connection with a wide portfolio of corporate action events. Helping to develop and maintain relationship with clients and their advisers and communicating desires of clients to operational teams and to ensure understanding of the clients’ challenges and goals. Supporting the expansion and implementation of new initiatives and services to meet future needs of the UK securities environment.
**Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities**
- Helping to develop and maintain strategic relationships
- Providing help and guidance to clients/advisers on corporate action products
- Maintaining technical and business expertise to identify and respond to changing market trends in order to sustain enhanced levels of service
- Responding to changing market requirements to operate at a new level, in a different way or provide new services
- Escalating client concerns and ensuring they are resolved swiftly
- Ensuring compliance with any regulatory or statutory requirements, industry codes and practices
- Ensuring adherence to Link Asset Service’s information security and other core policies and standards
- Preparing and having executed in a timely manner corporate action agreements
- Supporting visits to clients/advisors to provide one-to-one service
- Reviewing draft corporate action documents
- Drafting and overseeing preparation and mailing of shareholder invitation or result documents
- Communicating event parameters to key business areas
- Overseeing and authorising the issue of client invoices
- Reviewing local procedures to ensure that continuous improvements are achieved, risk minimised, changing business/industry trends followed and regulatory compliance
- Updating Euroclear UK & Ireland in a timely manner on corporate actions
- Suggesting possible improvements to services provided
- Adopting appropriate business AML procedure and processes
- Ensuring management information records are maintained
- Supporting client feedback surveys
- Supporting the corporate actions risk review process
