Job Details:

This role involves working on high-profile, complex corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, equity capital markets, and general corporate advisory services. You will be responsible for advising clients on complex legal issues, drafting and negotiating agreements, and working closely with senior lawyers to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

  • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): Advising on private and public M&A transactions, including structuring, due diligence, drafting, and negotiation.
  • Venture Capital (VC): Supporting innovative start-ups and venture capitalists on funding rounds and structuring investments.
  • Equity Capital Markets (ECM): Assisting with capital-raising transactions, such as IPOs and AIM listings.
  • General Corporate Advisory: Advising on corporate governance, shareholder arrangements, and general company law matters.
  • Corporate Finance: Non-regulatory financing transactions, including reorganisations and alternative finance arrangements.
  • Banking, Security, and Insolvency: Advising on financing structures, security arrangements, and corporate reorganisations.

Requirements:

  • PQE: At least 2 years' post-qualification experience in corporate law from a reputable UK firm.
  • Expertise: Solid experience in M&A, general corporate advisory, and venture capital.
  • Skills: Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
  • Sector Insight: Interest in or prior experience across key sectors, particularly technology, fintech, and financial services.
  • Collaboration: A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering high-quality legal solutions.

Compensation:

  • A competitive salary of £180,000 per annum.
