**Hours: 37 Hours a week, 40 weeks per year**

We are looking to appoint a Child Protection Coordinator to work with students, carers, staff and external agencies to effectively manage and reduce risk of harm and promote safe, healthy choices and management of risk. You will receive and coordinate referrals from the pastoral team; liaise with multi-agency partners, negotiating support and provision; liaise with students and their families and; facilitate actions and plans, in consultation with the DSL.

**You will have**:

- Ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people.
- Motivation to work with children and young people.
- Knowledge of Safeguarding and Keeping Children Safe in Education to enable the postholder and Designated Safeguarding Lead to work together to ensure effective procedures to safeguard children within the school.
- Ability to establish good professional relationships and effective working relationships with a range of partners/colleagues and pupils at a variety of levels.
