We are recruiting a new team in Newton Aycliffe and are looking for experienced Healthcare Assistants to support our young service user with his complex healthcare needs.

If you have a genuine interest in working with children and young people, a patient, reliable and positive approach this could be the perfect role for you

Our service user is a young boy who lives in his loving family home and requires 1:1 support throughout the night.

He usually sleeps well throughout the night and upon arrival, you will observe him closely, carry out regular repositioning, provide comfort and reassurance and tend to his clinical interventions as required.

This is more than just a job, this is a great opportunity to make a real difference to the life of our service user and his family, whilst also building on your clinical skills and experience.

**Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.**

**Essential Experience**
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal Care
- Moving & Handling
- Medication Administration

**Desirable Experience**
- Tracheostomy
- Ventilation management
- Suctioning
- Gastrostomy/feeds
- Knowledge of Epilepsy care

**We have the following shifts available;**
- Full & Part Time Nights
- 30 hours per week
- 10- hour shifts

**Take a look at our payrates**

Weeknight - £11.50 per hour (£115 per 10-hour shift approx.)

Weekends - £12.00 per hour (£120.00 per 10-hour shift approx.)

Bank Holidays
- £13.00 per hour (from £130 per 10-hour shift approx.)
