**Team Overview**
As the Head of Sales for EMEA at EquiLend, you will play a pivotal role in steering our sales strategy and driving new business opportunities across the region. Leading a team of 3, your leadership and expertise will be instrumental in promoting the value and benefits of our securities finance products and services to an expanding client base.

This Head of Sales role requires a professional with a track record of continued sales success, preferably in the finance or financial technology space, with a specialisation targeting the buy-side and hedge fund community.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the EMEA region to meet or exceed revenue targets, aligning with the company's growth objectives.
- Manage a team of 3 to success fostering a driven and success focused sales culture
- Expand our customer base by identifying new business opportunities and exploring untapped markets within the region.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closure, ensuring a robust pipeline with accurate forecasting and performance metrics.
- Regularly report on sales performance, providing data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
- Analyse market trends and dynamics, adapting strategies to stay ahead of market shifts and competitor movements.
- Deliver insights on market landscapes and trends, guiding client decisions and enhancing client engagement.
- Craft compelling value propositions, demonstrating the business impact and ROI of our products and services to clients.
- Conduct persuasive presentations and proposals, showcasing the strengths of EquiLend's offerings.
- Foster collaboration with internal teams for pricing strategies, business case development, and contract negotiations.

**Required Skills**:

- 10+ years' experience in sales, preferably in the finance or financial technology space
- Extensive sales experience with a focus on B2B sales.
- Proven track record in developing sales strategies, managing sales pipelines, and closing high-value contracts.
- The ability to define, track and report sales success metrics to senior management
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg.
- Strong capabilities in both virtual and in-person presentations.
- Demonstrated success in lead generation and managing senior-level relationships.
- You are results orientated and have a passion for what you do
- A consistent history of successful deal closures.
- Knowledge of Securities Finance is desirable but not essential
