**Role Overview**:
As a Residential Childcare Practitioner, you will be an integral part of our team, working within the residential home to provide care and support to young individuals. Your role will involve fostering a safe and positive environment, offering guidance, and building meaningful relationships with the residents.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Direct Care**: Provide day-to-day care and support to young people within the residential home, ensuring their well-being and safety.
- **Positive Engagement**: Engage with residents in a positive and supportive manner, encouraging their personal development and emotional well-being.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with the team to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment, sharing insights and best practices to enhance the overall quality of care.
- **Communication**: Maintain effective communication with colleagues, supervisors, and other professionals involved in the care of the young people.
- **Record Keeping**: Keep accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and residents' progress, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.

**Requirements**:
- Relevant experience in residential childcare or a related field.
