**Shift Trainer - Operations**

We are looking for a Shift Trainer for our Operations team

Reporting to the Operations Manager on a day to day basis, you will be responsible for ensuring that HARIBO staff are trained to the high standards expected within a food environment.

You will have key relationships with other departments including but not limited to Shift Supervisors, Team Leaders, HSE, HR, Engineering, Planning and Technical Services.

Some of the key accountabilities and responsibilities of the role are;
- Procedures are followed correctly, monitored and updated where necessary
- Hygiene and quality standards are maintained at all times
- Undertaking induction for the new starters in Operations to ensure they fully understand HARIBO policies and procedures
- Plan, facilitate and record effective training to employees in all areas of Operations
- Creation and management of SOPs in all areas of Operations
- Facilitate refresher training employees across Operations, as necessary
- Carry out regular audits of the training procedures and machine training manuals

**Ingredients that you bring with you**:

- Formal training/coaching qualifications would be beneficial, however, training will be provided
- Previous experience within Manufacturing environment would be beneficial
- Excellent communication skills, particularly verbal skills with the ability to engage employees
- Good eye for detail with the ability to create, amend and maintain records effectively
- Experience of creating training materials, including presentations and written procedures
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Able to work to tight deadlines and perform effectively under pressure
- Ability to work individually or as a part of a team

**Hours of Work**:
Working 40 hours per week on alternating shifts; 06:00 to 14:00 and 13:55 to 21:55 at our Pontefract site.
