About the role
We are looking to recruit a Systems Trainer within the Warehouse & Distribution Talent & Development team, to deliver effective IT & Systems training to the operational and functional teams within NDL.
In this newly created role, you will be developing, designing and maintaining digital learning solutions including e-learning. Working closely with the Operational Coordinator and subject matter experts, you will develop course content on defined IT and systems needs including Peakon, Clear Review and Google.
In addition, you will understand MAS, Oracle and other systems in order to assist others with understanding these systems and be able to work effectively with them. A part of the Oracle working party, you’ll be a member of the team assisting with the development of Oracle and other systems into the business, checking for accuracy and ensuring business needs are met.
The Systems Trainer will be responsible for the delivery of face to face and virtual training to the identified colleagues to upskill them and meet their development needs, coaching individuals on a 1-1 basis on systems where necessary. You will evaluate the training on a regular basis to ensure that all learning objectives are met, making suggestions for improvements to the benefit of all.
By providing excellent guidance and training solutions, you will drive engagement with the relevant systems leading to the delivery of business objectives across NDL.
About you
We’re looking for a candidate with excellent interpersonal skils who can build relationships at all levels within Next to deliver exceptional training and support to our teams. With a proven ability to positively influence your audience, you should have experience of delivering and facilitating training and learning.
Strong operational warehouse knowledge and experience of designing learning interventions using Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign) and Articulate Storyline is essential along with sound user knowledge and experience of Oracle HCM and G Suite.
Planning, organisation and project management skills are key and you’ll demonstrate a flexible approach as this role will cover all sites and shift patterns (with some overnight stays required)
