**Report to**: Chefs, Housekeeping Supervisor, Estate Manager

**Liaise with**: Guest Services, Maintenance

1496 annualised hours, permanent contract

**Salary**: £15,738 per annum, paid in 12 equal payments

The hours of work are variable working within the Kitchen and Housekeeping departments including some 11-hour shifts and weekend work on a rota basis.

Key responsibilities - Kitchen

You’ll help to provide high-quality meals at breakfast, lunch and dinner for guests enjoying an accessible break at our activity centre. Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Delivering excellent customer service

Assisting the head chef/chef on duty

Helping prepare high-quality food as directed by the head chef/chef on duty

Assisting with serving food

Using the commercial dishwasher

Ensuring the kitchen and food areas are clean and tidy

Cleaning and clearing the dining area

Cleaning the catering equipment as directed

Key responsibilities - Housekeeping

You’ll assist with maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout our activity centre, as well as ensuring our guests are comfortable and catered for when it comes to their accommodation. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness within the public areas in line with our standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness within the bedrooms and wet-rooms in line with our SOPs

Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness within the other buildings in the centre grounds in line with our SOPs

Assisting with bed-making

Carrying out laundry duties

Responding to specific requests from guests staying in our activity centre
