Overview:
The assistant Manager will be a key member of the health retreat's team. Primarily responsible for managing the smooth operation of our retreat's reservation system, guest inquiries and assisting the General Manager in the day-to-day running of a busy health retreat.
- Previous administration and/or reservations experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A passion for health and wellbeing
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask are essential
- Strong computer skills
- Previous experience of using a reservations platform desirable but not essential

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the retreat's reservation system, including booking, modifying, improving and encouraging reservations
- Organise weekly guest information and retreat schedule
- Assist the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the retreat.
- Respond efficiently and accurately to guest queries
- Meeting and greeting of guests
- Assist in coordinating the retreat ensuring seamless transition between activities
- Follow up with guests post-retreat if needed
- Ensure the ambience (heating, lighting, oil diffusers etc) is constantly being adjusted and set the right atmosphere and tone of the retreat.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanour

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £27,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 - 38 per week
