The Consultancy Service at Lancaster University is an innovative and customer focused team providing excellent support to staff across a diverse and broad discipline institution. Reporting to the Head of Consultancy Service, the Consultancy Support Officer will manage enquiries, provide guidance and support staff with responses to external requests for academic consultancy support. Liaising with both staff and third party clients, including businesses large and small, public bodies and charities, the role includes ensuring approvals are in place, consultancy contracts are finalised, delivered, invoiced and income distributed. On occasion, this can include contributing to bids under a tender process, and arranging sub-contracts or temporary staff appointments too. Educated to degree level, you will need to be able to prioritise your workload and work under pressure whilst developing and maintaining mutually beneficial working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

This opportunity is offered as a part-time fixed term role to 31st July 2024, with the opportunity of hybrid working.
