It is an exciting time for Dunston Hall Estate as we expand our current services following the conclusion of the first stage of our multi-million-pound development.

Completion of the development will see a purpose built French oak barn overlooking our stunning arboretum, courtyard with a variety of farm shops, inhouse distillery and local suppliers.

The Barn will be a prime location for weddings, parties, and conferences, with accommodation and smaller events taking place in the newly refurbished Hall. We are already hosting weddings and private events in our Grade II listed Hall and Marquee.

With an ever-expanding business we are looking for an experienced wedding and events coordinator who would like to join the team at this exciting time, and be a part of the business as we grow.

Person Specification:

- Fantastic interpersonal skills, enjoys working with couples, clients, and all key stakeholders
- Must have 2-3 years of wedding or event organisation experience
- Organised and efficient worker
- Attention to detail during meetings and on function sheets and contracts
- Immaculately presented to be client facing in smart clothes
- Ability to work independently and is self-motivated
- Ability to multitask and capable of effectively prioritising workload
- IT literate with experience using on-line systems and Word packages, preferably SharePoint
- Team player, able to work with others easily and effectively
- Natural brand ambassador, excellent representation of the business whilst onsite, and offsite
- Willingness to support the business during key operational periods. Supporting the successful end-to-end events process for clients
- Confident individual with the ability to lead client meetings, show rounds and key appointments. Prior experience of this ideal

**Responsibilities**:

- Proactively handle all enquiries for any wedding, private event, private hire of the house or conference/meeting with a view to converting to a confirmed booking.
- Attend update meetings with Director and Consultant to plan sales strategies and generate sales leads
- Pro-actively promote and sell Dunston Hall Estate via the phone, in person and in writing to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings, including but not exclusively for: Weddings, Charity Balls, Celebration Events, and conference and meetings business
- The recording and management of enquiries, negotiation, contracting and function sheets
- Excellent product knowledge with the ability to confidently sell to new and existing clients. Utilise upselling and cross selling techniques
- Liaising with clients. Conducting meetings and show rounds
- Prepare accurate function sheets, ensuring all customer requirements and expectations are clearly communicated to the operational teams for service delivery
- Collection of pre-orders and ensuring payments are processed in a timely manner, in line with internal policies
- Upload of wedding and event inspiration for social media channels to promote further sales leads
- Complete post event follow-ups, share, communicate and act upon relevant customer feedback
- Carry-out general office administration tasks
- Encouraged to generate and lead on ideas for new service offering resulting in new PR or additional revenue streams
