Overview:
We have a brand-new opportunity for two Apprentice Administrator Assistants to join our team at Blackpool Transport and work towards obtaining a Business Administration qualification.
We are looking for a bright individual who is looking for a career opportunity. All our previous apprentices have gone onto progress into different roles within the company with great results.
As an Apprentice Administrative Assistant, you will be working within the Admin Hub to provide a support network across the Company offering a comprehensive Admin service to all sites and divisions of the business.
You will help to maintain a range of information, data, employee records, and policies and procedures to Company and legally required standards. This is a varied role suitable for someone who can work on their own initiative and has excellent communication and organisational skills.
The successful applicant will work a 37-hour week Monday - Friday. The rate of pay is £6.23 per hour with the opportunity for a salary increase after a successful first year.

**Responsibilities**:
- Make appointments and manage busy diary system for senior managers
- Meet and greet all business visitors to the Company
- Notetaking/ minutes at meetings across the business
- Diary management for large meetings/courses
- Arrange lunches/refreshments for visitors.
- Arrange travel arrangements for staff and guests.
- Deal with all ingoing and outgoing Company post
- Filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
- Checking documents for errors / amendments
- Support with admin for training courses.
- Book internal training courses
- Work within the learning curve to support with learners
- Any other administration-based duties and when required
Qualifications:
**Education/Qualifications/Knowledge**
- GCSE’s A - D / 9 - 4 (or equivalent) in maths and English is desired but not essential as we will support you to achieve.
**Aptitude and skills**
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic, with a 'can do' attitude
- Excellent communicator, with fantastic people skills
- Able to work to deadlines and have a sense of urgency
- Professional at all times
- Willing to work towards a relevant qualification

- Be willing to undertake all training, on an ongoing basis, to develop in the role as much as possible
