Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team for a fixed term period of three months. As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating engaging activities for our residents.

You will work as part of our Rehabilitation team working within our purpose built and well equipped Wellbeing Hub.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement a diverse range of activities and programs to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents
- Coordinate and schedule activities such as games, crafts, outings, and entertainment
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure activities are tailored to the individual needs and abilities of each resident
- Encourage resident participation and engagement in activities
- Maintain accurate records of activity attendance and resident preferences
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all activities
- Communicate regularly with residents, families, and staff regarding upcoming events and activities

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working in care home environment preferred
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff
- Strong organisational skills to plan and coordinate activities
- Knowledge of dementia care principles and techniques is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in enhancing the quality of life for seniors
- Good general standard of education or equivalent experience
