**Outline**
Upwards Care Solutions are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Office Administrator to join our busy and expanding Head Office team based in Manchester. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to enhance their skills whilst developing new skills. We are looking for someone who has great attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, is a team player, willing to show initiative approach to work.
**Responsibilities**
As Office Administrator you will be assisting with:
- Sourcing and recruiting staff via direct adverts
- Posting job adverts on external job boards
- Maintaining accurate and confidential records in relation to personnel information and documentation ensuring that starters and leavers are processed to meet both legislative and Company requirements.
- Fulfilling areas of safer recruitment and onboarding in the sector, including the request and follow up of references for all new employees.
- Communicating effectively with a range of people, either in person or on the telephone, promptly and in a professional and courteous manner whilst recognising barriers to communication.
- General administrative support
- Booking travel and accommodation
- Retrieving quotes, and stock ordering.

**Knowledge, Skills, Experience**
- Previous experience as an office administrator preferably in a social care sector.
- Ability to work well under pressure, on your own initiative and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced office environment.
- Confident communication at all levels.
- Excellent computer literacy and numeracy skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work pro-actively to improve efficiency and timely onboarding of staff.
