The Cardiology department continues to expand and integrate our services across the NWAFT sites, and works closely with the local Integrated Care Network to promote a high standard of care. Duties of a Registrar

Contribute to general cardiology services, including outpatient clinics and inpatient ward work and reviewing outlying patients with cardiac conditions.

Deliver high quality, patient centred care.

Shared responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service.

Active involvement in MDT meetings and directorate clinical governance activity.

Teaching, training and participation in continuing medical education.
