To manage the operation of a Stitching Machine and associated equipment, maintaining quality, efficiency and safety at all times.

1. Ensuring correct job is on the machine - code/version etc.

2. To obtain an "OK to Proceed" from the Cell Leader/Finishing BUC once make-ready is completed.

3. To monitor and maintain quality of work produced.

4. Make adjustments to maintain quality and output.

5. To maintain optimum machine output speed.

6. To keep the machine area in good order.

7. To efficiently utilise any machine staff provided for you.

8. To complete all documentation as required by ISO 9001.

9. To pass on all relevant information to subsequent shifts.

10. To report breakdowns or abnormalities immediately.

11. To be fully conversant with all applicable Health & Safety procedures.

12. To leave the machine in a safe and tidy condition.

13. Give coaching and guidance where required.

14. To provide support and assistance across both stitching lines as and when required.

15. To provide holiday and sickness cover across both stitching lines as and when required.

16. Ensure preventative maintenance is carried out and relative forms are completed

17. Carry out stock check on machine parts and re-order where necessary.

18. Undertake to comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) and its associated policies.

19. To perform any other duties which may be required from time to time.

20. Maintain Lean Manufacturing standards.

21. To attend and comply with all training

22. Any other duties that may be required from time to time.

23. To carry out a comprehensive changeover at the beginning and end of every shift with other stitching operators.

**Salary**: £14.32 per hour
