**After School Manager (Sports Focus)**

**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, implement, and manage a dynamic after-school sports programme based on our established curriculum, promoting physical activity, teamwork, and healthy competition among children.
- Ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children, adhering to safety protocols and child protection guidelines.
- Liaise with school staff, parents, and the broader school community to foster positive relationships and ensure alignment with school objectives.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with OFSTED standards, including record keeping, safety checks, and staff training.
- Manage and train a team of after-school coaches and support staff, fostering a culture of enthusiasm, positivity, and professionalism.
- Identify opportunities for programme development and expansion, including holiday programmes and additional sports activities.

**Work Hours**:

- Monday to Friday, 15:15 - 17:45, term time.
- Opportunities for overtime during school holidays and additional hours during school terms.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience working with children in a sports, educational, or recreational setting.
- Strong understanding of OFSTED standards and requirements for after-school programmes.
- Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and manage staff and children with enthusiasm and positivity.
- A background in sports, physical education, or a related field is highly desirable.
- First Aid certification and an enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain these).

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Qualifications in sports coaching, childcare, or education.
- Experience in managing or coordinating after-school or holiday programmes.
- A genuine passion for promoting children's physical health, well-being, and happiness.
