Assistant Procurement Officer

Band 3, 1.0 wte, 37 hours - Permanent

(Please note - Initial working hours will be 37.5 hours with a plan to transition to 37 hours)

£25,468 - £27,486

We are looking for an enthusiastic motivated individual to work has an Assistant Procurement Officer. You should have SVQ Level 2 (Pharmaceutical Sciences minimum of one unit) / level 5 SCQF / national 5 or General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) standard of competence for pharmacy support staff.

What will I do?
- Participate in the ordering of hospital medicines to ensure receipt from approved suppliers within agreed timescales, for a growing Purchasing & Invoicing service.
- Liaise with suppliers to investigate and record supply problems to ensure these are communicated to pharmacy staff
- Administrative duties including scanning, photocopying, filing, and maintaining stockholding records
