We have a brand-new exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety Co-ordinator to join our Retail Health and Safety team. We have over 300 stores across UK and Ireland and, as an integral part of a team of 4, you’ll assist with the administration and communication of compliance for these stores. Working predominately from home, you'll support with all day-to-day health and safety and system requirements, enabling accurate data recording and analysis, ensuring we meet business and relevant legislative standards.

As part a Health and Safety Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for:

- Supporting the administration and development of our approach to ISO 45001; assisting in the flow of information, documentation and procedures being implemented
- Coordinating the completion of on-line accident reports, following up on accident information with stores and producing weekly or monthly statistical reports as necessary
- Monitoring and tracking lost time incidents in accordance with RIDDOR and advise Managers accordingly
- Organising, and on occasions attending, site inspections / site audits and collating compliance reports for distribution to store and operational management teams
- Acting as the main liaison for store-related Health and Safety meetings, coordinating minutes and agenda items accordingly

You will need:

- Effective administrative skills and an ability to multi-task
- A keen interest in compliance and a desire to learn about Occupational Health & Safety management
- A methodical and structured approach to work which translates into delivering high standards of service
- Ability to communicate/ liaise well with people at all levels, mainly by telephone or Microsoft Teams but face to face also
- Strong attention to detail
- IOSH Managing Safely would be desirable
