An exciting opportunity has arisen in Havant for a Staff Nurse who wants to make a difference in patient’s lives and take on the role of Senior Nurse. You will provide patient care according to procedures with the aim to increase the quality of life forpatients. A comprehensive professional training programme will be provided to you, including on-the-job training, e-learning, and access to their in-house education academy.
Along with a salary of up to £26,685, you will also receive overtime paid at time and a half, paid breaks, career development opportunity, the opportunity to undertake relevant study, 35 days holiday (including 8 days bank holiday), Christmas and new year off,free uniform, flu vaccine, onsite parking, fitted and tested PPE, refer a friend scheme (£1,000), life assurance, employee benefit scheme, company pension and Visa sponsorship.
As Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for undertaking the role of Nurse in Charge and when required deputise for the Clinic Manager; provide a mentorship approach to the team, empowering patients, qualified nurses, and other staff to share knowledge and skills.You will take ownership of care programmes for renal patients and perform patient assessments throughout treatment ensuring ‘great care’ is provided at all times. Further responsibilities include but are not limited to preparing and monitoring dialysis machinesand systems in line with processes; reviewing pre and post haemodialysis care with patients and participate in quality and service improvement programmes.
**What we are looking for in a Staff Nurse**:

- NMC Registered General Nurse
- The ability to work clinically in a renal setting
- Strong experience in a renal dialysis setting
- Awareness and Understanding of NMC code of professional conduct
- In possession of/or working towards a post registration clinical course in Renal Nursing (ENB 136 or equivalent)
- Ideally have a Mentorship/Teaching Qualification
- Have a positive and dynamic approach to providing safe and effective delivery of care
- Excellent communication skills

You will be working 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Saturday, 06:30-23:30. No Sunday or Night Shift working.
