Paragon Logistics is a fast-growing transport firm looking for an Experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant part time, with a work from home flexibility.
Working closely with the Director your role will be to keep all the client's accounts up to date, manage records, keep in touch with clients to request information and other general duties. Our firm has a wide variety of clients in different fields making the work interesting and diverse.
Part-time role must be available during peak office hours - Option to be flexible with start and finish times up to 15 hours per week on average at £15phr.
Must have knowledge of and skills in:
- Customer Service
- Data Entry of invoices, bills/receipts etc
- Bank Reconciliations
- Double Entry
- Payroll
- VAT returns
- Microsoft Excel
- Time management
- Managing deadlines
- Working independently and with others
- Other online accountancy software
- Self-Assessments
- Trial Balance
- Xero or Other accounting systems
- Cash Forecasting / Payments
- Assist Sales with relevant information
Duties
- General bookkeeping for various clients
- Bank Reconciliations
- Contacting clients to request information
- Payroll both weekly and monthly
- Filing VAT Returns
- Self-Assessments
- Answering the phone
- Assisting in accounts preparation
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 per week
**Salary**: £15.00 per hour
