We've offered accounting, bookkeeping, business advice and innovative business finance support to 100’s of plumbing and heating businesses since 2015.

And what makes us unique is that we are a remote workforce. We support our clients through various Virtual Finance Office Packages from the comfort of our home offices (or kitchen tables) meeting quarterly for lunch and a pretty awesome Christmas party

We're adding to our **bookkeeping team**, an experienced bookkeeper who can use Xero, communicate with clients and offer a bespoke bookkeeping service, tailored to each client.

**What are the hours and what will you earn?**:
It’s work - so let’s face it, it’s all about the money

Working hours are between **8am to 6pm - Monday to Friday**. You will be expected to work 35-40 hours per week within the working hours. You will be paid according to the hours logged on your time sheet.

Depending on experience, between £13.50 - £16.50 per hour

You will be entitled to 20 days a year holiday + all the bank holidays
- AAT Qualified Bookkeeper or equivalent with at least 5 years practice experience
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, Xero, Hubdoc and Outlook and CRM’s
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with accuracy and attention to detail
- Familiar with a remote working environment
- A ‘get stuff done’ attitude and ability to multi-task and take responsibility for workload
- Experience in bookkeeping and accounts for the plumbing and heating industry would be desirable
- Willingness to learn and engage in continuing professional development.
- Ability to adapt to new and emerging technology, such as AI.
- Knowledge of the construction industry/CIS
- Knowledge of VAT rates, especially those used for construction.
- Knowledge of domestic reverse charge would be highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of HMRC guidelines
- Knowledge of Xero (we are a Xero-only practice)

**Nature of the Job**:
As a Virtual finance team member/bookkeeper at Together We Count you will be responsible for taking care of the bookkeeping needs of multiple clients at once as delegated by your line manager. We offer varying Virtual Finance Office packages to our clients, and we understand that each client is unique in their needs.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Weekly payment runs
- Monthly payment runs
- Monthly CIS returns and all required compliance
- Weekly debtors reports
- Weekly / Monthly bookkeeping
- Quarterly and monthly VAT return preparation
- Purchase and sales ledger tasks
- Completion of management accounts by agreed date
- Other administration duties as required by TWC and clients
- Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
- Growing the business through referrals
- Offer bespoke bookkeeping advise
- Strive to ensure the business is streamlined and spot efficiencies where possible
- Advise clients in relation to the VAT reverse charge, bookkeeping and any matters (as your experience allows)
- Support the team, and client managers, to continuously deliver the agreed level of service
