**St Patrick’s** works with 29 adults with aspirations for independence and vulnerabilities around complex trauma, substance misuse and mental health. We provide 29 units of accommodation for single homeless people, some of whom own dogs, in five
- and six-bedroom flats with shared kitchen/lounge and bathrooms. We provide a 24-hour accommodation-based assessment and support service and operate 365 days a year. The supportive, robust St Patrick's team is made up of support staff, night staff, maintenance staff and management working closely together with the aim of supporting clients into longer term and more independent accommodation.

We are looking for a **Night Support Worker** to join our experienced and enthusiastic team. The post-holder will assist with the provision of supported housing and help our clients to articulate and achieve their aspirations. You will be responsible for ensuring the service is safe and prevent any anti-social behaviour from impacting our neighbours and other residents. You will work alongside the other project staff to maximise the well-being of clients and visitors and to ensure that they follow health and safety protocols. You will also be responsible for providing support to our vulnerable clients, addressing queries that they may have and signposting them to our day-time team. In addition, you will be confident in upkeeping and monitoring the handover documents and the front office.

**You will be based on site at St Patrick's in Hove and you will be on a rolling shift pattern with four nights on and four nights off, the hours for these shifts are 8.45pm to 8.15am.**

The successful applicant will have experience of working with vulnerable adults and a strong belief in the importance of empowering people and inspiring them to develop their talents so that they are able to reach their full potential. You will have knowledge of good safeguarding procedures in relation to young people and/or vulnerable adults and the ability to maintain professional boundaries (training provided). You will also have good administration skills and competency in using MS Office packages.
