Support Worker

This isn't a typical **Support Worker role**. You'll be caring for people and having days out, trips and helping people experience extra curricular activities.
**WE DO NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIP. Due to the rural location, a driving licence and your own car is needed for this role.**
**Contract**: Permanent contract, full time and part time roles available
**Pay**: £14.00 per hour
**Locations**:We offer care in Horsham Pulbough, Ashington, Worthing, Bognor Regis and surrounding areas.
We are building a team to support a young woman in the community. You will be part of a wider team where there will be team leaders and managers to support you in your role.
This young woman wishes to be supported to access our “Learning 4 Living” activities where we have five acres adjacent to her accommodation: Equine therapy Donkies Arts/Crafts Gardening Mountain bike riding (direct access onto downs)
As a waking night support worker to support young woman who can become anxious but May enjoy going night walks or a drive out. She is someone who has had few opportunities in life so although can become anxious is also good fun.
**We're welcoming anyone with a positive attitude and are looking to speak with;**
- People who are semi or fully retired who are looking to work 2,3 or 4 days a week.
- People looking to work shift patters around their busy personal life.
- People who are looking for a full time role and are flexible.

We’re a family-run company, supporting individuals with their Mental Health in a mix of flats and house-shares functioning as supported living accommodation, enabling them to live independently in the community and supporting them to access the wider community and lead increasingly independent lives.Our wonderful clients have a range of complex and diverse needs, and our mission is to support them in accessing and leading enriched, fulfilling lives in the most effective and meaningful way.You will form part of a team with other Team Leaders and Support Workers, working together for successful outcomes for our residents. You will have additional support from the Supported Living Manager and Registered Manager.

- A full UK driving licence and your own car is essential.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Supporting young adults and adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs.
- Taking people out on day trips and extra curricular activities such as walking and cycling.
- Providing high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans, compliance with CQC regulations and the care & support policies and procedures
- Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
- Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
- Be a kind, empathetic and people person who works well in a team.
