Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Waking Night Support Worker to join our team at a therapeutic residential home for young people with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding care and support to young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the needs of each young person are met.
  • Use your knowledge and experience to offer emotional first aid, a warm, homely, and therapeutic environment, helping young people build resilience and achieve their full potential.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, contributing to the delivery of high-quality care.
Requirements:
  • Qualified to Level 3 in Health and Social Care or a related care field.
  • Minimum of 1 year Support Worker experience within the care sector.
  • Experience working with high-risk and challenging behaviors.
  • Ability to work under pressure, think on your feet, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to working within a therapeutic framework.
  • Good written, IT, and communication skills.
