**Overview**

We are looking for a career driven Senior Accounts Assistant who is looking to gain exposure within an efficient fast-paced finance team located in Northampton. This is an exceptional opportunity to develop your skills working alongside ambitious team members and join a globally known company who are a leading provider within their sector and are passionate about supporting employees with their career development.

The role will involve reporting to the Finance Manager with increasing responsibilities being delegated as the role progresses. Your focus will be on building strong relationships with team members and communicating in a clear and concise manner to all stakeholders in the business whilst assisting with balance sheets, month end duties including accruals and prepayments and reporting.

**Skills required**:

- Be fully AAT qualified with the intention and ambition to study ACCA/CIMA with excellent attention to detail and have the ability to work well in a dynamic, growing team
- A strong demonstrable experience of Excel and previous knowledge with other software tools to help managing processes efficiently
- Be a strong communicator as you will speaking with various stakeholders on daily basis therefore it is crucial to be able to relay information to financial and non-financial stakeholders
- Demonstrate initiative to work to tight deadlines and feel comfortable with working in fast paced environment whilst still establishing accuracy
