To provide assessment and therapeutic intervention and / or specific evidence based therapies to children and young people with mental health problems and significant mental health disorders. To support parents carers and front line professionals in understanding and supporting the child / young person through providing education, advice and direction on how to manage the condition.

Wrexham CAMHS are currently looking to recruit a full time Band 6 Senior Mental Health Practitioner to work within our Unscheduled care pathway.
In a period of exciting change and development, we are looking for experienced registered Mental Health Nurses, Social Workers or Occupational Therapists to join our multidisciplinary team in Wrexham
We are a busy, friendly service providing a range of treatment approaches to children and young people including individual, group and family work. We also work in close collaboration with partner agencies and with our children, young people and their families who are involved in all areas of the service, this pathway operates a 7 day weeks service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
