Early Years Practitioner

We are looking to recruit an Early Years Practitioner for lunch cover 11am to 2pm, Monday to Friday. There will also be the opportunity for extra hours to cover sickness and holidays within the setting.
Duties
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Provide individualized attention and support to meet the unique needs of each child
- Promote positive behavior management techniques and encourage social-emotional development
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's learning journey
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, observations, and assessments
- Support children's personal care needs, including feeding and toileting
Experience
- Previous experience working with young children in an early years setting
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework and understanding of child development and nurture principles
- Ability to create engaging and stimulating learning environments
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £10.90 per hour
