Housekeeper

We are currently looking for Housekeepers to join us and be a part of the SCHLOSS Roxburghe Housekeeping team We have full-time and part-time positions available with Hotel Cleaners and Cottage Cleaners. You must be available to work weekends.

We offer a **competitive salary of £10.90 per hour plus gratuities* **equating to potential earnings of £12.05 per hour (based on a 40-hour week) **and excellent employee benefits**.
- *Gratuities (tips) are an additional charge added onto services and are paid to all employees on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role. The amount is not guaranteed and is depended on service charge paid._

As a SCHLOSS Roxburghe Hotel Cleaner you will be responsible for cleaning of the guest rooms and bathrooms according to the hotel's luxury standards and maintaining the hotel's public areas.

**Your Key Responsibilities**:

- To consistently ensure that all rooms and public areas are cleaned, prepared and presented to the luxury standards set out by SCHLOSS Roxburghe to ensure the best quality for our guests
- You will ensure that the furniture, equipment and appliances are in clean and flawless condition, well maintained
- To report any faults or broken items to Housekeeping management
- Ensure that all procedures concerning guest safety are followed including but not limited to; lost property, key control and confidentiality
- You will take pride in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of all guest areas

**Your Knowledge & Capabilities**:

- You are enthusiastic and have a positive personality with the ability to build genuine and trusting relationships
- You are a brilliant multi-tasker and able to organise your time effectively
- You have a key eye for detail and take pride in your work
- You enjoy working as part of a team as much as you enjoy working independently
- You have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels

**Proven Experience/Qualifications**:

- Previous housekeeping experience is not essential as full training will be given
- Ability to communicate proficiently in English
- All applicants must have right to work in the UK
