Although home-based, you will be required to travel across London and the South East to attend events and meetings.

The Regional Partnership Lead will develop a deep understanding and robust relationships across the region, including Integrated Care Systems and NHS Regional teams. The lead will use these relationships to identify how NHSBSA can best support regional and local systems, spread the word about the fantastic services we offer, and share insight back into the organisation to support the development of our services and ambitions.

In this Regional Partnership Lead role, you are accountable for:
1. Working with the Head of POD ensure there is a robust strategy and plan for the Region, ensuring the direction and performance
of personnel is delivered and managed in order for the NHSBSA to achieve its vision, retention and growth targets as well as
contribute to the development of the organisation’s strategic and annual business plans.

2. Acting as a senior manager of the POD and wider business team, work within the corporate governance framework and
demonstrate the values and capabilities of the organisation and ensuring that the NHSBSA meets its statutory and legislative
obligations.

3. As a senior member of the POD and wider business playing an active and collaborative role in the effective management and achievement of the goals of the NHS Business Services Authority, recognising the significant impact that the NHSBSA’s activities has on many people and services within the NHS.

4. Developing and implementing appropriate POD strategies, models, and methodologies in the nominated Region/s to actively manage activities across the NHSBSA and partners ensuring the brand and reputation of NHSBSA is optimally positioned at all times.

5. Leading and managing the POD team and matrix POD network within the Region/s agreeing appropriate performance and return on investment targets

6. Acting up for the Head of Partnerships and Opportunities as required.

7. Working as part of the Team, particularly in terms of accountability for delivery of the NHSBSA POD Strategy and Performance and leadership of POD and SME personnel working within the Region/s and wider business as required.

8. Working collaboratively with NHSBSA business leaders and their teams to identify and analyse POD initiatives, POD pipeline, develop targeted and actionable strategic and tactical plans, driving and reporting on execution against plans.

9. Proactively building effective working relationships across the NHSBSA, with key stakeholders and other key players in the wider system in order to promote best practice, develop business relationships and input into strategic and tactical initiatives across the system.
